THE EFFECT to Open at Thymele Arts in Hollywood This June
Lucy Prebble's play stars Tristan McDaniel and Harriet Bridgwater, directed by Braden Lynch.
Is love nothing more than chemicals in the brain? Or is it something that will forever lie beyond the comprehension of science?
This June, The Effect brings that question to life on a Hollywood stage. Written by award-winning playwright Lucy Prebble, the play follows two clinical trial participants, Tristan and Connie, who find themselves falling in love during a drug study who then must reckon with whether their connection is real or simply a side effect.
The Effect runs June 12-14 at Thymele Arts, 5481 Santa Monica Blvd, Hollywood. Evening performances begin at 7pm, with a Sunday matinee at 3pm. The production is directed by Braden Lynch and Tristan McDaniel, and stars Tristan McDaniel, Harriet Bridgwater, Ansley Hutchinson, and Braden Lynch.
