STEPHEN FLAHERTY and LYNN AHRENS Will Run A Workshop At Bolshoi Theatre

Composer Stephen Flaherty and lyricist Lynn Ahrens are going to hold a meet-the-artist session at Bolshoi Theatre on the 25th of April. They will share their experience in working on a musical score and lyrics. During the session, there will be a workshop for composers where young creators can share their music and get feedback.
Flaherty and Ahrens, winners of Olivier Award and Tony, are frequent collaborators: together they have created songs and music for such musicals as Once on This Island, Anastasia, Rocky the Musical, Ragtime and Seussical.
The meeting is a part of an international project Broadway Dreams which is organized by Dmitry Bogachev's theatre company Broadway Moscow and a non-profit organization The Broadway Dreams Foundation.
