STAGE TUBE: Lea Michele Pays Surprise Visit to 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

Lea Michele, star of Broadway's 'Spring Awakening' and currently seen in FOX's mega-hit show 'Glee', paid an unpublicized visit to ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on Thursday night. During her apperance, Michele promoted the upcoming December 29 DVD release of the 'Glee' fall season, and the newly released ;Glee: The Music Vol. 2' CD. Michele also confirmed that her 'Spring Awakening' co-star, Jonathan Groff, will make a guest appearance on 'Glee' when the show returns from its hiatus in April.

Lea Michele starred on Broadway in Spring Awakening as Wendla, receiving a 2007 Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Musical. She appeared in the 2008 summer season as Eponine in the Hollywood Bowl's Les Miserables in Concert. She also performed in Fiddler On The Roof (Shprintze and Chava), Ragtime (Little Girl) and Les Miserables (Young Cosette).

'Glee', the genre-defying new musical comedy series, follows an optimistic teacher who against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach attempts to save McKinley High's Glee Club from obscurity while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential. Starring Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz, GLEE is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century FoxTelevision. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are co-creators of the series. Murphy, Falchuk and Dante di Loreto serve as executive producers, while Ian Brennan serves as co-executive producer.

GLEE is currently on hiatus, and will return to the small screen in April.
