Roundabout Offers Multiple Discount-Ticket Options

Roundabout Theatre Company is proud to announce "Access Roundabout," a multi-faceted audience development initiative that allocates over 22,000 affordable tickets as low as $10, to theatregoers!  Roundabout offers these special low-priced alternatives to the community beginning with the 2007-2008 season.

"Access Roundabout" includes the following four major programs:

$10 PREVIEWS:
Roundabout has allocated 100 mezzanine tickets to be sold for $10, for the first preview performance at each of its Broadway venues (American Airlines Theatre and Studio 54).  For this program, Roundabout has allocated 500 tickets for the season at a full value price of $30,625.  The tickets will be available in advance by calling 212-719-1300, online at www.roundabouttheatre.org or at the respective box office.

ROUNDABOUT UNDERGROUND:
All tickets for all productions and performances at Roundabout Underground (5,456 total seats) will be $20.  This previously announced artistic initiative will launch with the upcoming production of Stephen Karam's Speech & Debate on October 5, 2007.  Tickets are available in advance by calling 212-719-1300, online at www.roundaboutunderground.com or at the box office.

HIPTIX "NEW AND IMPROVED":
This popular program for young professionals and students continues to grow with cheaper tickets and even more access.  Roundabout has allocated 16,400 tickets to be sold for only $20 each for HIPTIX members.  This offer will be available for all Roundabout shows, at every venue.  HIPTIX membership (for ages 18-35) is FREE and available at www.hiptix.com.  The tickets are available in advance by calling 212-719-1300 and at the box offices. Proof of age is required.

RUSH POLICIES & TICKETS FOR CHILDREN:
Roundabout is pleased to offer general rush tickets in the mezzanine, available on the day of a performance at an average price of $21.25-$26.25.  Student rush tickets are available one half hour before curtain time at half price, available with a valid student I.D.  Lastly, Roundabout offers half price tickets to all children and young adults ages 17 and under for all performances.

Roundabout Theatre Company's critically acclaimed Broadway production of Reginald Rose's Twelve Angry Men has extended its multi-award winning touring production for a second year.  Directed by Tony-nominated director Scott Ellis (Curtains) and starring Richard Thomas as "Juror #8," the play will appear in numerous cities in the 2007-2008 season including Cleveland, Toronto, Costa Mesa, Ft. Lauderdale and Charlotte.
