The Mirror Repertory Company will present a benefit reading of H6R3, new play by Austin Pendleton adapted from plays by William Shakespeare. Featuring Lynn Redgrave and Geraint Wyn Davies, it will be presented on Monday, October 10th at 8 p.m. at The Promenade Theatre.

H6R3 is a compilation of Henry VI parts 1 and 2 and Richard III, and "includes a new, never-before-seen ending," according to press notes.

The Mirror Repertory Company was founded in l983 by Sabra Jones Mc Ateer, Geraldine Page, Eva Le Gallienne, and John Strasberg. The late Laurance S. Rockefeller underwrote the company with a founding grant. It is an alternating Repertory Company in the classic sense, with a different production every night. Sabra Jones McAteer and Anthony D. Marshall produced Alice in Wonderland on Broadway as the company's first project, garnering a Tony nomination and giving Kate Burton her Broadway debut. It became a WNET 13 Masterworks film and starred Kate and her father Richard Burton. The Mirror Repertory Company past roster included Geraldine, Ellis Raab, and Elizabeth Franz, and Anthony Hopkins. The current company includes Austin Pendleton, F. Murray Abraham, Anne Jackson, Eli Wallach, Steven Weber, Enrico Colantoni, Maxwell Caulfield, Juliet Mills, Michael Moriarty, Tovah Feldshuh, and many others.

The Company produced sixteen plays in rep and fifteen regionally, and has a highly-regarded Arts in Education Program. Last season Mirror produced Edge in London and the show was produced here in New York by Daryl Roth. Mirror also staged the critically acclaimed one-man show Do Not Go Gentle about the life of famed Welsh Poet Dylan Thomas, starring Geraint Wyn Davies, as well as the well-received Richard & Anne.

The Young Mirror will be presenting Edward Sheldon's Salvation Nell, which made Mrs. Fiske famous and was a staple of David Belasco's presentations. It has not been seen in New York for over 90 years. Also slated for production is The Black Prince by Iris Murdoch and The Shanghai Gesture by John Colton.

Tickets to H6R3 are $50, $100, and $125 and available through Smarttix by calling (212) 868-4444. Top ticket price includes admission to the reading and also a champagne reception with Lynn Redgrave, Austin Pendleton, Geraint Wyn Davies and the rest of the cast. Proceeds from H6R3 benefit the Mirror Repertory Company and the Hurricane Katrina victims through the Red Cross.
