Obie Award winner Steven Boyer, best known for originating the roll Jason/Tyrone in the Off Broadway hit Hand To God is the latest featured artist in The Creative Faces Project: an evolving portrait and interview collective of artists inspiring the New York stage. His photos, posted today, October 2nd, can be viewed below!

Tony nominee Jessica Hecht (Assembled Parties, A View From The Bridge), Obie Award winner Tracee Chimo (Lips Together Teeth Apart, The Heidi Chronicles) Tony winner Jefferson Mays (I Am My Own Wife, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) and Academy and TONY Award winner Ellen Burstyn (Picnic, The Little Flower of East Orange) will be released in the weeks that follow.

"There is something about Steven. He may not be a household name, but when you watch him on stage, it is hard to take your eyes off him. He is technically brilliant and is able to express so clearly and efficiently the inner life of his characters. I first saw him in Hand To God at Ensemble Studio Theatre, then again at The Fool in King Lear at the Delacorte this summer. After that, I contacted him on Facebook hoping that he would be willing to participate in what was... and is... a fledgling project and he said 'yes'. A very humble and special guy. I feel very lucky to have this collaboration." -Jason Zeren: Photographer and Curator of The Creative Faces Project
