The Drama Desk paid tribute to the leading men of the New York stage at its Special Summer Luncheon Panel at Sardi's on Friday, June 15.

The Panel, entitled "Men For All Seasons – The Art of Acting in a Show" – featured panelists that included Michael Cerveris (Love/Musik, Assassins), Raúl Esparza (Company, Taboo), Harry Lennix (Talk Radio) and Liev Schreiber (Talk Radio, Macbeth).  Elysa Gardner, Theater Critic for USA Today and a member of the Drama Desk organization, served as moderator.

The Drama Desk, organized in 1949, presented its first awards in 1955. It is the only theater organization whose award nominations honor Broadway, Off-Broadway, Off-Off Broadway and not-for-profit theater productions equally in multiple categories. The Drama Desk membership includes over 130 voting theater critics, reporters and editors. The 52nd Annual Drama Desk Awards took place on May 20, 2007, and the awards ceremony was subsequently broadcast on Thirteen/WNET and NYC TV 25 in the metropolitan New York area. The two-hour TV special will also air on many PBS stations nationwide over the next three months.
