On Thursday, April 28th, Renaissance Hotels and RLife LIVE, presented a special performances by renowned DJ Mia Moretti and electric violinist Caitlin Moe and the cast of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, all as part of an exclusive gathering co-hosted by superstar Cyndi Lauper. The event, also sponsored by American Airlines with cocktails courtesy of GREY GOOSE® Vodka, included a silent auction with proceeds benefitting Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Fund in an effort to engage everyone on LGBT equality and respect, while raising awareness about LBGT youth homelessness. This special event is part of a larger Renaissance Hotels program designed to celebrate diversity and inclusion within the hospitality, travel and tourism community.
RLife LIVE (www.RLifeLIVE.com) is Renaissance Hotels' new global entertainment program dedicated to providing hotel guests and local patrons with an intimate, up close and personal look into music, design, culinary arts and more. Throughout 2011, RLife LIVE will showcase an eclectic fleet of emerging artists at Renaissance Hotels. Previous RLife LIVE performances include Robin Thicke, Thievery Corporation, Bruno Mars, Robyn and Neon Trees.
