The acclaimed Broadway by the Year series continued with "The Broadway Musicals of 1928," presented on Monday, February 26 at 8pm at The Town Hall.

Created, written and hosted for Town Hall by Scott Siegel, the evening featured songs heard on Broadway in 1928 from such shows as Rosalie, The Three Musketeers, The Greenwich Village Follies, Present Arms, Blackbirds of 1928, Grand Street Follies, The New Moon, Paris, Animal Crackers, Whoopee! and more.  "The Broadway Musicals of 1928" starred Leah Hocking, MAC Award-winner Lumiri Tubo,  Nancy Anderson, Joyce Chittick, Jeffry Denman, Malcolm Gets, Eddie Korbich, Paul Schoeffler, Max von Essen, Lari White and Bob Martin

Conceived and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall, the one-night-only concert was directed by Joel Froomkin, with musical direction by Ross Patterson.
