Celebrity gossip blogger and Broadway fan Perez Hilton is showing his support for the 2013 Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 15, singing an original song called "Perez's 2013 Holiday Dishlist," with music by Jason Michael Webb, and lyrics by Lynn Pinto and George Howe. Perez Hilton made his New York stage debut in 2012 in the comical off-Broadway revue "NEWSical the Musical."

Recording sessions are underway for this year's Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Vol. 15 (http://broadwaycares.stores.yahoo.net/holiday-holidaycd.html). Stars and casts from the current Broadway line-up of shows perform traditional and original holiday songs in this annual holiday music CD, which benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA), one of the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations.

Broadway's Carols for a Cure is the creation of Lynn Pinto, Executive Producer of Rock-It Science Records. "This is the 15th year of Carols for a Cure and we are so excited about the continuing turnout by both the participating casts plus supporters of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, like Perez Hilton," stated Pinto. "It's a great project. Broadway performers get to represent their show in fun and creative ways, fans look forward to hearing what their favorite performers have come up with, and the money goes to a great cause. Since it's inception in 1999, Carols for a Cure has raised over three million dollars for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS."

Purchase of this annual CD of holiday music supports Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA). Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 15 can be ordered for only $23 through BC/EFA at broadwaycares.org or by calling (212) 840-0770 x238 Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST. Volumes from previous seasons are available, too (check online or call for price).

As always, the CDs will be sold at participating Broadway and off-Broadway shows in New York during a six-week "Gypsy-of-the-Year" fundraising period, which starts begins in October and runs through mid-December. Additionally, the CDs are available at select venues throughout the U.S., including The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, The John W. Engeman Theater in Northport, NY and The Arvada Center for the Performing Arts in Arvada, CO.
