Paul Soileau's Christeene Returning to Joe's Pub This June
Soileau is making their Broadway debut as a Phantom in the multi-Tony-nominated revival of The Rocky Horror Show.
Christeene, an alter ego of Paul Soileau, who is currently on Broadway in The Rocky Horror Show, will return to Joe’s Pub beginning in June for a live performance of their music.
The new dates follow a sold-out January run. Tickets and more information are available here; tickets have already sold out for the first two performances on June 15.
Christeene is one of many personae of artist, actor, musician Paul Soileau, a Louisiana–born actor, musician, and performance artist. Christeene has performed with Faith No More, Kembra Pfhaler, Tribe 8, Narcissister, Marc Almond and more.
Longtime collaborators include award-winning filmmaker PJ Raval, along with iconic fashion designer Rick Owens and artist Michèle Lamy. CHRISTEENE has been photographed by Juergen Teller, Katerina Jebb, Matt Lambert and Wolfgang Tillmans.
Paul Soileau is also making their Broadway debut as a Phantom in the multi-Tony-nominated revival of The Rocky Horror Show. Their work has been presented at The Barbican, The Dublin National Concert Hall, Berghain, Edinburgh Festival, Soho Theatre of London, Sonar Festival, Glastonbury Festival, Lincoln Center, and Joe’s Pub, among others.
