Paradiso Extends Escape Experiences with 'THE MEMORY ROOM' and 'THE PATH OF BEATRICE' Image

Immersive Escape Productions and producing partners Michael Counts and Jennifer Worthington will present Paradiso: The Memory Room - an immersive escape room - and Paradiso: The Path of Beatrice - both extensions of their groundbreaking escape experience, Paradiso: The Escape Test.

Ticket buyers for The Memory Room will experience a 360-degree immersive, interactive environment centered on the Virgil Corporation's cutting-edge research into the human mind of one of Virgil Corporation's most classified test subjects.

Creator Michael Counts - hailed as a "mad genius" and "a master of immersive theater" by The New York Times - described the experience as "a sort of 'virtual reality' that is an experience you fully go into rather than something you just see through VR goggles, which is a very limited experience. I want to be transported and this experience does that!"

Paradiso Extends Escape Experiences with 'THE MEMORY ROOM' and 'THE PATH OF BEATRICE' ImageThe Path of Beatrice - a real-world, alternate reality experience that takes the story and action of Paradiso out onto the streets of New York - has received rave reviews from it's initial audiences and Gordon Cox of Variety has said it "takes immersive theater to the next level" that it's "What it's like to play [David Fincher's] The Game in real life."

"What we're doing is like a cross between an immersive performance and a video game. It's today's fastest growing, popular form of entertainment smashing into a form that is a unique response to our screened-in, digitized age. It's the perfect form of entertainment for the 21st century," says director Ashley Tata (whose recent production Ipsa Dixit was called a "21st century masterpiece" by The New Yorker) who has joined Counts' team as the director of Memory Room and co-director of Path of Beatrice.

Paradiso co-producer Jennifer Worthington - a Hollywood feature film producer under Jerry Bruckheimer - described The Path of Beatrice as "an experience that makes au- diences feel as if they have truly entered a world where the circumstances, characters, risks and drama represent a 'reality' - as if the audience member has stepped into a Hollywood suspense thriller!"

The Memory Room - the newest part of the Paradiso epic is currently open in Koreatown with showings seven days a week. Tickets are $35. The Path of Beatrice takes place between 1-7 days. Tickets are $250-$300. Advanced booking is required at www.paradisoescape.com.
