"The Divine Miss M," producer Bette Midler will present a live performance from PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL on "The Today Show" tomorrow morning, Friday, March 18 in advance of the spectacular new musical opening on Broadway at The Palace Theatre this Sunday, March 20.

Led by stars Tony Award® nominee Will Swenson, Olivier Award nominee Tony Sheldon and Nick Adams, the company will perform the dance floor hit "I Will Survive" on the nationally televised broadcast that will air during the 8:30am half hour on NBC (Channel 4 in the New York metropolitan area, check local listings).

Bette Midler will also sit down for an interview during the "The Today Show's" fourth hour hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb beginning at 10:00am.

Following smash hit productions in Australia, London and Toronto, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL began previews on Broadway on February 28.

PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL stars Tony Award® nominee Will Swenson, Olivier Award nominee Tony Sheldon and Nick Adams as the trio of friends on a heart-warming, uplifting road trip of a lifetime who hop aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship in the middle of the Australian outback and end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed.

Featuring a score of over 20 dance-floor classics, a company of 27, and with a dazzling array of more than 500 outrageous costumes, the spectacular new stage musical is a sensational journey to the heart of fabulous!

Adapted from the Academy Award® winning film "The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert," PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL is written by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott. Direction is by Simon Phillips, choreography by Ross Coleman, musical supervision and arrangements by Stephen 'Spud' Murphy and set design by Brian Thomson. Production supervised by Jerry Mitchell. Tim Chappel and Lizzy Gardiner have re-created their Academy Award® winning costume designs originally designed for the film. Lighting is designed by Nick Schlieper, sound design is by Jonathan Deans and Peter Fitzgerald and make up design is by Cassie Hanlon.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday eve at 8p, Wednesday & Saturday mat at 2p; Sunday eve, March 20 at 6:30p (Opening Night). Dark Monday.

March 21, 2011 onward:
Monday, Thursday, Friday &Saturday eve at 8p, Tuesday eve at 7p, Sunday eve at 7:30p. Saturday & Sunday mat at 2p. Dark Wednesday.

Performance schedule variation: Week of April 25
No Monday evening performance 4/25. Added Wednesday evening performance 4/27 at 8:00p.
