Musically Human Theatre Productions (MHTP) is thrilled to announce the first concert in our "Our Time" series, which features songs by the next generation of Broadway composers. The concert will be held on Monday, December 5, at 9:30 p.m. at The Duplex, located at 61 Christopher Street in Manhattan. The December 5 concert will be directed by MHTP Artistic Director David Norwood and feature songs from Bobby Cronin (Broadway-aimed "Welcome to My Life), Ian Zahren and Jennifer Wine ("Water Colors"), Jonathan Larson Award-winner Marisa Michelson and Joshua H. Cohen ("Tamar and the River"), Matt Conner and Stephen Gregory Smith ("Night of the Living Dead The Musical"), Natalie Lovejoy ("Deployed"), Will Reynolds("The Greenwood Tree"), and Zak Sandler and Greg Edwards ("Split Decision"). The cast includes Alison Lea Bender, Jessie Hooker, John Wascavage, Kristen Michelle, Salvador Garcia and Scott Montgomery. Additional cast members will be announced shortly.

MHTP aims to engage, inspire, entertain and challenge audiences with provocative, alternative, socially relevant works of musical theatre-theatre that dares to explore politics, race, violence, drugs, sexuality, religion and other contemporary issues. MHTP nurtures and promotes the rising generation of theatre artists, provides arts education programs to diverse communities, and celebrates the essential power of musical theatre to illuminate our shared humanity.
