ORPHANS' Alec Baldwin, Ben Foster and Tom Sturridge to Guest on TIMES TALK Tonight

Alec Baldwin, Ben Foster and Tom Sturridge, now starring on Broadway in Lyle Kessler's Orphans, will be the featured guests at today's New York Times "Times Talk." The talk is streamed live from 6:30 -8 PM at www.nytimes.com/artsbeat and www.Livestream.com/nytimes. The New York Times' Pat Healy will moderate.

ORPHANS is now in previews and opens on Thursday, April 18 at the Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). The production, directed by Daniel Sullivan, marks the first Broadway staging of Orphans.

In the play, two orphaned brothers are living in a decrepit North Philadelphia row house. Treat, the eldest, (Foster), supports his damaged younger sibling Phillip (Sturridge) by petty thievery, and makes the house a virtual prison for the seemingly simple-minded Phillip. One night he kidnaps a rich older man, Harold (Baldwin), who turns out to have his own motives and becomes the father figure the boys have always yearned for.
