OLIVER! THE MUSICAL Will Come to Artscape Opera House

This festive season, audiences are invited to experience the magic of one of the world's most cherished stage musicals, Oliver!, opening at Artscape on 10 December 2026.
Presented by Pieter Toerien and Cape Town Opera, Cameron Mackintosh's Oliver!, directed by Steven Stead, is based on Charles Dickens' timeless novel Oliver Twist, a heartwarming and exhilarating musical that has captivated audiences for generations. Featuring a score by Lionel Bart, the production brings to life the unforgettable journey of a young orphan navigating the streets of Victorian London in search of family, belonging and hope.
Packed with iconic songs including 'Consider Yourself,' 'Food, Glorious Food,' and ‘Reviewing the Situation,' Oliver! is widely regarded as one of the greatest musicals of all time.
