New items have been added to the Actors Fund's Annual Auction of 1000 Stars, which launched online June 11 at this link.

"Bidders will have two weeks to vie for once-in-a-lifetime experiences and a host of unique autographed memorabilia from the worlds of stage, screen, television, music, dance, radio and sports," stated press notes. All proceeds from the auction go to support the vital programs and services of The Actors Fund.   New items include: Nickelodeon's 21st Annual Kids' Choice Awards - 4 VIP Tix + Party Passes; VIP NY Mets Day (step onto field and see batting practice – name in lights); a meeting with "30 Rock"'s Alec Baldwin or pop legend Neil Sedaka; and a VIP Behind-the-Scenes at Fox's MAD TV and meeting with cast members.

Auction winners can choose from 125 listings in honor of The Fund's 125th Anniversary, including the chance to have a private guitar lesson with Michael Cerveris, take a private Shakespearean acting lesson with Lynn Redgrave, or make a Broadway debut with walk-on roles in such shows as Rent, Phantom of the Opera and Mamma Mia!.

Gala event passes are available for the 2008 Tony Awards and the Tony Awards Gala, the 2008 Nick Kid's Choice Awards, and the 2008 Grammy Awards, among others.  Lucky winners will be invited to attend opening night celebrations for the upcoming Broadway productions.
