Listen: THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2 Soundtrack Debuts with New Songs by Lady Gaga
The highly anticipated sequel is now playing in theaters.
The Devil Wears Prada 2: Music From The Motion Picture is now available via Interscope Records. The 13-song set includes three original works by Lady Gaga, including the single “RUNWAY” with Doechii, alongside tracks from a lineup of artists including SIENNA SPIRO, Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, Olivia Dean, SZA, Laufey, and more. The Devil Wears Prada 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2006 film, is now in theaters. The movie features Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci all reprising their roles from the 2006 film. Find out what critics think in our review roundup.
Lady Gaga and Doechii’s “RUNWAY” appeared in the final trailer for the film and shares its name with the fictional magazine led by Streep’s iconic Miranda Priestly. Following the song’s debut, it hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Digital Song Sales chart, debuted in the Top 10 on the Digital Song Sales, Hot Dance/Pop Songs and Dance Streaming Songs charts, and in the Top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The other two Lady Gaga originals on the soundtrack are "Shape of a Woman” and “Glamorous Life” and reunite Gaga with the collaborators who helped bring to life her GRAMMY Award-winning blockbuster 2025 album MAYHEM.
SIENNA SPIRO contributes “Material Lover,” written exclusively for the film, with newcomer Izzy Escobar adding the unreleased track “Evergreen Avenue." The rest of the tracklist ranges from dance-pop songs like Dua Lipa’s “End of an Era” and Cyrus’ “Walk of Fame (Edit)” with Brittany Howard, to RAYE’s “Worth It.” and Olivia Dean’s “Nice to Each Other,” in addition to SZA’s “Saturn” and Laufey’s “Mr. Eclectic.”
The Devil Wears Prada 2 reunites the original main cast with director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna. New additions to the cast include Kenneth Branagh, Maybe Happy Ending star Helen J. Shen, Rachel Bloom, Patrick Brammall, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Caleb Hearon, Simone Ashley, and Tibor Ravitz.
The 2006 blockbuster film from Twentieth Century Studios, adapted from Lauren Weisberger's best-selling 2003 novel, went on to gross $326 million worldwide and received two Academy Award nominations.
The stage musical adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada is currently running at London’s Dominion Theatre, featuring an original score by music icon and Olivier and Tony Award winner Elton John, lyrics by Tony-winner Shaina Taub, book by Kate Wetherhead with direction & choreography by three-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell. Vanessa Williams is playing the role of Miranda Priestly.
