According to the Kennedy Center's website, Sweeney Todd: The Reunion Concert has been cancelled.

"Due to scheduling conflicts, this engagement on June 22 and 23 has been cancelled. Refunds will be issued to the original method of purchase. For questions, contact the Advance Sales Box Office at (202) 416-8540, Mon.–Fri., 10 a.m.–5 p.m," states the website.

The concert was to have featured Christine Baranski and Brian Stokes Mitchell as Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney, respectively.  The two starred in the acclaimed Kennedy Center Sondheim Celebration production, which was staged in Washington, D.C. in 2002 and also featured Celia Keenan-Bolger and Hugh Panaro, among others.  Sweeney Todd, featuring a score by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Hugh Wheeler, recounts the macabre tale of a revenge-obsessed barber and his meatpie-baking assistant.  The musical will be brought to the big screen this year by Tim Burton, with Johnny Depp in the title role.
