Jon Stetson
America's Master Mentalist
Sunday, December 10 at 3:00 p.m.

Fourth generation mentalist Jon Stetson demonstrates his extreme powers of intuition, honed as the main consultant on the hit CBS show The Mentalist, together with his unique blend of humor and mysticism. Pre-show activities take place in the lobby beginning at 2:00 p.m. Appropriate for ages 8 and up.


The Nutcracker: A Ballet in Two Acts
The State Ballet Theatre of Russia
Friday, December 15 at 7:30 p.m.

The State Ballet Theatre of Russia's traditional staging of the perennial classic The Nutcracker features a lavish set, stunning costumes, dancing snowflakes, and marching toy soldiers, set to the traditional Tchaikovsky score with over fifty dancers. This season's dance series is sponsored by the SHS Foundation.


The Rob Mathes Holiday Concert
Sunday, December 17 at 3:00 p.m.

Emmy winner and Grammy and Tony-nominated arranger/composer, music producer/director, and singer/songwriter Rob Mathes returns with his band of all-star musicians, including instrumentalists from Saturday Night Live and the Late Show with David Letterman for an afternoon of funk and R&B-laden original tunes, holiday classics, and audience favorites. Rob has worked professionally with U2, Beyonce, Bruce Springsteen and Sting. With friends like his, you never know who could show up!

Schimmel Center, located in the heart of downtown Manhattan at Pace University, presents a unique and diverse array of internationally acclaimed artists, encompassing genres including dance, cabaret, music, comedy, world music and family programming, in an intimate setting with affordable ticket prices. Schimmel Center is accessible via the A, C, 2, 3, 4, 5, J, or Z to Fulton Street (William Street Exit), 4, 5, 6 to Brooklyn Bridge (Brooklyn Bridge Exit), and R to City Hall (Broadway Exit); via the Path Train to the World Trade Center stop; and via bus by the M1, M9, M15, M22, M102, B51 to Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall Stop or the M6 to City Hall/Broadway.
