Confederate Railroad, Randy Travis, Neal McCoy, David Lee Murphy, Hank III, and Chely Wright are just a handful of the Nashville recording artists that Pennsylvania native and country music veteran Johnny Jolin has shared the stage with in his career. There is no doubt why fans have highly anticipated his new single "Blue Collar Man," which has been released to radio and is available for download.
As a veteran of the U.S. Army, Jolin has always been one to show his patriotism in live shows. However, with the release of "Blue Collar Man" he hopes to share his admiration for the hard-working blue collar folks that he says "make this world go 'round."Jolin, when asked to describe the message of his single, replied: "The message was simply to remind folks of their parents or grandparents, or maybe even themselves. So many people can identify with the guy I'm singing about in this song."He went on to say, "I really feel it speaks about a lot of people I've known throughout my life. It reminds me of my Grandpap and just a lot of the hardworking in-the-trenches folks I've met out on the road over the years. Those are the people I play for and I hope to connect with. The project started as a "6-pack" like what Blake Shelton has recently made popular. But then a good friend and co-writer Cal Phillips passed away and I really wanted to honor him by putting a live version of a song we wrote together on the project. And so it became a "7-pack," I suppose."Videos
