A reading of an untitled musical by Patty Griffin and Keith Bunin starring Broadway couple Sutton Foster (The Drowsy Chaperone, Thoroughly Modern Millie) and Christian Borle (Spamalot, Elegies) has been pulled from Joe's Pub's line-up.  The musical-in-development was to have been presented at the intimate downtown venue  on Mondays, January 30th through February 13th.

The musical featured a book by playwright/screenwriter Bunin (the upcoming The Busy World is Hushed) and music and lyrics by Grammy Award-nominated songwriter Griffin.  The "project is the story of Duane and Molly's road trip in a beat-up Chevy truck, from the southernmost tip of Florida to the northernmost corner of New York, with plenty of unexpected detours along the way," according to press notes.  ('night, Mother, Thoroughly Modern Millie) was to have directed the piece./>Michael Mayer
