Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra to Headline VIRTUOSI LIVE! Series at The Weidner
Wynton Marsalis leads JLCO in his final year as artistic director, marking BCCMA's 100th anniversary.
The Brown County Civic Music Association and The Weidner have announced the 2026-2027 Virtuosi Live! Series in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The season will feature Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis during Marsalis’ final season as artistic director and music director of the ensemble. Additional performances will include Daniel Ho, the Pro Arte Quartet, and the Weidner Philharmonic.
The Weidner and the Brown County Civic Music Association (BCCMA) have announced the lineup for the 2026-2027 Virtuosi Live! Series, celebrating the organization’s 100th anniversary season.
The season will be headlined by Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, presented as part of Marsalis’ final season serving as Artistic Director of Jazz at Lincoln Center and Music Director of the orchestra.

2026-2027 VIRTUOSI LIVE! SERIES
Daniel Ho
Hawaiian multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Daniel Ho will perform two concerts on October 7, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Ho is known for his work as a ukulele virtuoso, slack key guitarist, composer, arranger, producer, and vocalist, performing original music in both English and Hawaiian.
WHY YOU LIKE IT: Decoding Musical Taste – Live Experience with Dr. Nolan Gasser
Composer, musicologist, and Music Genome Project architect Dr. Nolan Gasser will present an immersive concert-lecture experience on November 13, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.
Inspired by the PBS special of the same name, the event combines live performance, storytelling, and discussions of neuroscience, psychology, and culture to explore the origins of musical taste and emotional responses to music.
Pro Arte Quartet
The Pro Arte Quartet will perform on March 4, 2027 with performances at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Founded in Brussels in 1912, the ensemble became one of Europe’s leading string quartets during the 20th century and has been in residence at the University of Wisconsin for more than 75 years. In 2012, the quartet marked its centennial anniversary.
Weidner Philharmonic: Sound & Seek
The Weidner Philharmonic will present Sound & Seek on May 1, 2027 at 7:00 p.m.
The orchestra performs under the artistic direction of Michelle McQuade Dewhirst and is conducted by UW-Green Bay Chancellor Michael Alexander. The program will include Charles Ives’ The Unanswered Question alongside additional repertoire centered on themes of exploration and discovery.

Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis
Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis will perform on April 22, 2027 at 7:30 p.m.
The internationally touring ensemble features 15 jazz soloists and ensemble musicians and presents performances, educational programs, and broadcasts throughout the world each season. The Green Bay engagement will take place during Marsalis’ final season leading the organization.
TICKETS AND INFORMATION
Virtuosi Live! four-show package subscriptions are currently available for $120, including fees. Package buyers will also receive early access and a discounted add-on ticket price for Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis.
Single tickets will go on sale at a later date.
