According to Zap2It.com, Johnny Galecki, Rita Moreno, Jimmy Smits, Hugh Jackman and Miriam Shor are among the theatre veterans who will appear on CBS' new fall line-up of shows.

Galecki (The Little Dog Laughed, "Roseanne") will be featured on the comedy "Big Bang Theory," which concerns "two geniuses (who) get lucky when a beautiful young woman moves in next door and decides to teach them a few things about the world outside of physics."  The show also stars Kaley Cuoco and Jim Parsons.

Moreno (The Ritz, Oscar-winner for West Side Story, The King and I) and Smits (Anna in the Tropics) will join Hector Elizondo, Polly Walker and others for the new drama "Cane."  The show is about "a South Florida family runs their successful rum and sugar business while dealing with both professional and personal turmoil."

Jackman (Tony Award-winner for The Boy from Oz, The Prestige, X-Men) will co-produce "Viva Laughlin" with Peter Bowker, Bob Lowry and Paul Telegdy.  He and Melanie Griffith (Chicago) will also be recurring guest stars on the show, which will feature Madchen Amick, Lloyd Owen, Carter Jenkins and more.  "Based on the BBC format 'Viva Blackpool,' a man's dream of opening a casino in Laughlin, Nevada is compromised by his family, his rivals and his involvement in a murder investigation. Musical numbers unexpectedly ensue."

Shor (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Merrily We Roll Along at the Kennedy Center) will join a large supporting cast for the drama "Swingtown," also starring Jack Davenport, Josh Hopkins, Molly Parker and Grant Show, among others.  "Residents of a Chicago suburb in the '70s are into couple swapping, open marriages and key parties, but they soon come to realize that their alternative lifestyle comes with its own complications."

Other new shows include the family reality series "Kid Nation" and the supernatural drama "Moonlight."
