Idina Menzel to Perform at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, 7/31

Broadway actress Idina Menzel will join the Boston Pops Esplanada Orchestra under the direction of Keith Lockhart, at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Saturday, July 31, at 8PM. Tickets will go on sale March 22 at 10AM.

Otherwise known as "America's Orchestra," The Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, with conductor Keith Lockhart performs hundreds of shows in Boston, across the US and internationally. The annual 4th of July concert from the Esplanade in Boston attracts over 300,000 people and is viewed by more than 20 million on CBS. "Evening at Pops", the longest running concert program on television is broadcast nationwide 13 times each season.

The July 31st performance will focus on the Broadway numbers made famous by Menzel's originating roles in Wicked and Rent. We can also expect to hear selections from Menzel's a powerful collection of exquisite new songs written by the Tony Award winning actress/singer/songwriter. With Idina's one-of-a-kind soaring voice and the talent of legendary Grammy winning producer Glen Ballard, the album is filled with pop tunes and heartfelt ballads.
