HONEYMOON IN VEGAS, Cast of ANNIE Movie & More Added to Macy's Day Parade Lineup; Final List Announced!

Macy's today announced the final lineup of star performances for the 88th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade®. On Thursday, Nov. 27, Broadway's best shows will be joined by the new musical comedy Honeymoon in Vegas and the float line up of performers will see the addition of pop rockers American Authors and country duo Dan + Shay. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade airs on NBC-TV, 9 a.m. - noon in all time zones.

Honeymoon in Vegas the eagerly anticipated new musical with book by Blazing Saddles and Fletch writer Andrew Bergman and score by three-time Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown began performances this week at the Nederlander Theatre (111 West 41st Street).

Starring Rob McClure, Brynn O'Malley, and Tony Danza, Honeymoon in Vegas tells the story of Jack Singer (McClure), a regular guy with an extreme fear of marriage, who finally gets up the nerve to ask his girlfriend Betsy (O'Malley) to marry him. But when they head to Las Vegas to get hitched, smooth talking gambler Tommy Korman (Danza), looking for a second chance at love, falls head over heels for Betsy. What happens next is anybody's bet!

The entire cast of Honeymoon in Vegas will perform "When You Say Vegas" marking the first televised performance from the new musical directed by Gary Griffin with choreography by Denis Jones.

With the addition of Honeymoon in Vegas, the complete Broadway show line-up includes numbers from this season's Tony Award-winning Best Musical "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder," Sting with the cast of "The Last Ship," "On The Town," and "Side Show." The Broadway spectacle will also feature a special sneak preview performance from NBC's "Peter Pan Live!" which premieres December 4th. The national NBC broadcast will also feature a return performance from the Radio City Rockettes®.

Pop rockers AMERICAN AUTHORS and Country duo DAN + SHAY also join previously announced stars taking to the streets of New York City to perform in the annual spectacle aboard the Parade's dazzling floats. On Thanksgiving Day American Authors and Dan + Shay join the Big Apple Circus, Before You Exit, William Blake, Sabrina Carpenter, Cirque du Soleil, Rene?e Fleming, Becky G., Lucy Hale, Nick Jonas, KISS, Sandra Lee, The Madden Brothers, Idina Menzel, Miss USA 2014- Nia Sanchez, MKTO, the cast and Muppets of Sesame Street, NEEDTOBREATHE, NHL® legends John LeClair and Pat LaFontaine, Pentatonix, Romeo Santos, Cole Swindell, Meghan Trainor, The Vamps, and Quvenzhane Wallis with the cast of "ANNIE."
