Christiane Noll will stop by the Manhattan bookstore Aug. 13 at 6 PM to perform selections from her latest album, "My Personal Property."
Actor Ernest Borgnine, known for "Marty" and "The Poseidon Adventure," will discuss and sign his memoir, "Ernie: An Autobiography," Aug. 14 at 7:30 PM.
Actor Malcolm McDowell ("A Clockwork Orange") and director Mike Kaplan will join the Film Society of Lincoln Center to pay tribute to late film and theatre director Lindsay Anderson Aug. 16 at 2 PM.

Sheldon Harnick.
Composer
Ricky Ian Gordon will be joined by special guests for the 5:30 PM performance and CD signing of his opera The Grapes of Wrath Aug. 26.
Klea Blackhurst and
Billy Stritch offer tunes from their latest album, "Dreaming of a Song: The Music of Hoagy Carmichael," Aug. 27 at 6 PM.
And, finally, August concludes with the anticipated cast recording of the 2008 Broadway revival of
Gypsy starring Patti LuPone.
