Among the winners of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, announced on Saturday, August 19th, were "High School Musical," Paul Gemignani, Patricia Clarkson and Cloris Leachman.

The creative arts awards award technical and other achievements for the TV season.  The ceremony for the Creative Arts Awards will be aired on E! Entertainment Television on Saturday, August 26th.

Disney's wildly popular "High School Muiscal" won Emmys for Outstanding Children's Programming and Outstanding Choreography.

For the PBS broadcast of the Carnegie Hall South Pacific concert, Gemignani picked up an Emmy for Outstanding Music Direction.

Clarkson (Three Days of Rain) won an Emmy for Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in "Six Feet Under," while Leachman (A Touch of the Poet, The Crucible) made history with her eighth Emmy Award.  Winning for Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for "Malcolm in the Middle," she now holds more than any other woman.

The main ceremony will be held next week.  Hosted by Conan O'Brien, it will air on Sunday, August 27th on NBC.
