NYC socialite Gail Maidman recently attended the opening night of the NY Philharmonic's rapturously received production of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's celebrated musical SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET starring Bryn Terfel and Emma Thompson outfitted in a dress emblazoned with a particularly pertinent pattern - that of the acclaimed composer/lyricist himself!

Donning an ensemble fit for the Tony Awards if there ever were any, Maidman made a splash in the frock flecked with multiple Stephen Sondheim faces upon it.

Certainly, it's dress fit for a musical theatre king and the fashionistas who worship him if there ever were any!

No further information on the designer of the dress is available at this time, yet in this case it seems to safe to assume it is a custom creation.
