Actor/playwright Eric Bogosian just launched a Kickstarter campaign for 100monologues.com, a series of short films which feature a variety of New York-based actors performing monologues from his award-winning solo shows -- Funhouse; Drinking in America; Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll; Pounding Nails in the Floor with My Forehead; and Wake Up and Smell the Coffee.

The campaign runs now through February 12 to finance completion of the series, culminating with 100 monologues being posted to the site. The short films are available online, free of charge, at 100monologues.com.

With the posting this week of Benefit, featuring Billy Crudup, exactly 50 monologues will be available on the site, constituting over four hours of material. The "100" site and all the videos are produced by Travis Bogosian and Good Baby Films.

Monologues currently featured on the site are performed by Dylan Baker, Josh Charles, Vincent Donofrio, Tate Donovan, Josh Hamilton, Jessica Hecht, Marin Ireland, Brian d'Arcy James, Richard Kind, Stephen Lang, Matthew Maher, Anson Mount, Sam Rockwell, Michael Shannon, Sebastian Stan, Michael Stuhlbarg, Michael Chernis, Betty Gilpin, Craig "Mums" Grant, Lisa Joyce, Karren Karegulian, Bobby Moreno, Dallas Roberts, Peter Scanavino, and David Zayas.

Also represented are well-known authors, soloists and poker stars Jonathan Ames, Nikole Beckwith, David Cale, Mike Daisey, Halley Feiffer, Bruce Norris and Jennifer Tilly, among others.
