Drama League Benefit Gala Silent Auction Includes Anything Goes, Priscilla

The Drama League is pleased to announce that its annual online silent auction - presented in conjunction with its annual all-star benefit gala "A MUSICAL CELEBRATION OF BROADWAY" - is now underway. Funds raised through the annual silent auction sustain The Drama League's educational initiatives, including the nationally-renowned Directors Project. The Directors Project enhances young directors' artistic growth, broadens their knowledge, and hones their skills by providing opportunities to work with and learn from leading directors, playwrights, actors and designers around the country. Now entering its 27th year, this innovative program is the nation's premier training program for theatre directors, with more than 237 active alumni working around the world.The impressive list of auction items includes several luxurious vacations throughout the world, including as a weeklong stay in Paris, a five-day getaway in Cancun, a six-day photo safari in South Africa and a three-day getaway to Walt Disney World in Orlando; opening night ticket and party packages to several of Broadway hottest spring openings, including Anything Goes and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert; plus one-of-a-kind artwork, movie, sports and theatre memorabilia, and much more.
