On Monday, October 6, the Broadway company of CHICAGO is pleased to welcome back Jeff McCarthy to the role of slick criminal lawyer Billy Flynn, for a one-week return engagement through Sunday, October 12.

McCarthy made his CHICAGO debut as Billy Flynn in December 2007 and returned for a second extended engagement last March. His prior Broadway roles include Chieftain Dubhdara in The Pirate Queen, Officer Lockstock in Urinetown (Drama Desk nomination), Terry Turner in Side Show and the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, among others.

McCarthy rejoins the CHICAGO company this month to sub for the vacationing Tom Wopat, who will return as Billy Flynn on Monday, October 13.

And later this month, CHICAGO will welcome back Terra C. MacLeod as merry murderess Velma Kelly for another one-week return engagement, Monday, October 27 through Sunday, November 2, while Brenda Braxton is on vacation.

Terra C. MacLeod has a long history with Velma Kelly, having starred in the French world premieres of CHICAGO in Montreal (2003) and Paris (2004), in addition to subsequent engagements with the Broadway production and the national and international touring companies.

MacLeod's other recent stage credits include Gladys in The Pajama Game at Musical Theatre West (Los Angeles) and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls at the San Diego Musical Theatre. She is the recipient of the Jessie Richardson Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Anita in the Vancouver Arts Club production of West Side Story.

Following her one-week return engagement on Broadway, MacLeod will go on to headline the upcoming 10th National Tour of CHICAGO, which launches on Tuesday, November 11 at the Belk Theatre in Charlotte, NC.

On Broadway, CHICAGO also stars Michelle DeJean as Roxie Hart, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and Carol Woods as Matron "Mama" Morton.
