Previews are about to begin Broadway's most adorable new show- BOOP! The Musical. The iconic Betty Boop comes to life onstage at the Broadhurst Theatre beginning March 11, 2025. What is the show all about?
For almost a century, Betty Boop, created by animation pioneer Max Fleischer, has won hearts and inspired fans around the world with her trademark looks, voice, and style. Now, in BOOP! The Musical, Betty's dream of an ordinary day off from the super-celebrity in her black-and-white world leads to an extraordinary adventure of color, music, and finding love in New York City — one that reminds her and the world, “You are capable of amazing things.”
"She is effortless. She is beautiful, sexy, confident, caring, kind... and she's so full of love," Jasmine Amy Rogers said of the title character. "She's iconic! So it's really exciting to get to take that on and put myself into that. It builds my own confidence up, which is really nice. That's what she's all about- you're capable of amazing things.
