Happy Fourth of July! Just because the rest of the country will be spending Independence Day sipping drinks at the pool, pigging out at family barbeques, and enjoying the day off at home, doesn't mean Broadway will shut down for the holiday - the shows must go on!

While some Broadway shows will proceed as normal this weekend, others are working on adjusted schedule. Many productions will be dark today, but CINDERELLA, THE NANCE, and VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE will all offer holiday performances. Catch up on which are doing what below with the full July Fourth weekend schedule below!

CINDERELLA -- the Rodgers + Hammerstein musical now at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway) -- began previews on January 25 and had its official opening night on March 3. Written for CBS-TV in 1957, this production of Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella marks the musical's first-ever Broadway production, now in its 7th month of performances.

RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S Cinderella, one of their most popular titles, was written for television, debuting in 1957 starring Julie Andrews. The musical has never been performed on Broadway, although stage adaptations have been performed worldwide since 1958. Along with Cinderella, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein's legendary musicals include Oklahoma!, Carousel, The King And I, South Pacific and The Sound of Music.

Lincoln Center Theater's critically acclaimed production of The Nance, a new play by Douglas Carter Beane, directed by Jack O'Brien at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street) and starring Nathan Lane will now run through August 11, 2013.

In The Nance, playwright Douglas Carter Beane tells the story of Chauncey Miles (Nathan Lane), a headline nance performer in New York burlesque, who also happens to be homosexual. Integrating burlesque sketches into his drama, Beane paints the portrait of a homosexual man living and working in the secretive and dangerous gay world of 1930's New York whose outrageous antics on the burlesque stage stand in marked contrast to his messy offstage life.

Directed by Nicholas Martin, the production stars Sigourney Weaver, David Hyde Pierce, Kristine Nielsen, Billy Magnussen, Shalita Grant, and Liesel Allen Yeager. Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike began performances on Tuesday, March 5 and opened on Thursday, March 14.

Riffing on some of Anton Chekov's most time-tested themes, Christopher Durang proves in his hysterically funny and surprisingly affecting new romp, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, that whether you're in 19th Century Russia or 21st Century Pennsylvania, the human condition never changes. Vanya (Pierce) and Sonia (Nielsen) have never left the confines of their childhood home - a rambling farmhouse in Bucks County, PA - while having to witness the glamorous exploits of their sister, Masha (Weaver), a famous movie actress, from afar. A surprise visit from Masha and her 20-something boy toy, Spike (Magnussen), throws the normally quiet household int0 utter upheaval as its residents and visitors get swept up in an intoxicating mixture of lust, rivalry, regret, and the sudden possibility of escape. Only one thing is certain: no one will get out of this without looking absolutely ridiculous!
