CHICAGO to Open at The TADA Theatre in June

On stage at The TADA Theatre June 11-28 is the blockbuster musical Chicago! This musical classic is a tale of greed, show business, murder and all that jazz. Set in the 1920's, two of the Cook County Jail's most notorious murderesses become rivals as they compete for headlines and the skills of a sleek lawyer.
Now celebrating its 30th year on Broadway, with one show stopping number after another, Chicago features the music and timeless lyrics by John Kander and Fred Ebb and an utterly engaging book by Kander and Bob Fosse.
The large and talented cast includes Bailey Domann as Roxie Hart, Cherie Jarosik as Velma Kelly, Cole Peterson as Amos Hart, Lisa A. Taylor as Mama Morton and special guest Matt Nesmith, the Associate Professor of Theatre and Coordinator of the Musical Theatre at the University of South Dakota, as Billy Flynn. The remainder of the cast includes Neal Stenberg, Sam Varney, Jax Barkhaus, Geoff Chenoweth, Ivy Auletti-Oliveras, Briar Forrest, Alexandra Wohlgemuth, Gradie Cunningham, Erica Shockey, Tenaj Motz, Larry Weixelman, Tom Hinshaw, Harold Scott and Mona Reeves.
Chicago is directed by Robert D. Rook, with choreography by Courtney Piccoli, musical direction by Cris Rook, musical arrangements by Bill Strongin, production management by Candyce Martin, scenic design by Jenna Williamson, technical coordination by Jax Barkhaus, ast. technical coordination by Kevin Welch, scenic painting & prop coordination by Mariah Lieberman, costume coordination by Shelly Shelf and lighting design by Robert D.
