Burke Moses & Beth Leavel to Star in That's Andy Reading

Burke Moses and Beth Leavel will star in an upcoming reading of a new musical entitled That's Andy.

According to press materials, the musical is aiming for a Broadway run.  It concerns a young boy (to be played by Mary Poppins' Henry Hodges) whose dream in life is to play the title role in Annie. 

In addition to Moses and Leavel, the March 26th reading (at 7 PM) will star Broadway veterans such as Joan Barber and Terri Furr.  That's Andy features music by Kevin Carter, and book and lyrics by Crystal Skillman.  The show is concieved by Robert Jay Cronin

Leavel is a Tony Award- and Drama Desk Award-winner for her performance in the title role of The Drowsy Chaperone.  Other Broadway credits include 42nd Street, The Civil War, Show Boat and Crazy for You.

Moses plays El Gallo in the hit Off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks.  His Broadway credits include The Frogs, Kiss Me, Kate, Beauty and the Beast and Guys and Dolls.
