Brooklyn celebrates best week at the box office

For the week ending October 31st, the new musical grossed $373,919.00.

The previous high for the show was the week ending October 17th, which grossed $268,959.00 over seven performances.

Since opening on October 21st, the original cast CD has been recorded and will be released in November.

In addition, Brooklyn The Musical has been selected as a featured performance on the Thanksgiving Day Parade on the CBS network.

Brooklyn is a new Broadway production by Mark Schoenfeld and Barri McPherson, Directed by Tony® award nominee Jeff Calhoun, with Music Supervision, Arrangements and Orchestrations by Grammy® & Emmy® award winner John McDaniel.

The cast features Tony® award nominated Kevin Anderson (Taylor Collins), Tony® award winner Cleavant Derricks (Street Singer), Eden Espinosa (Brooklyn), Ramona Keller (Paradice) and Karen Olivo (Faith). The cast also includes Manoel Felciano, Caren Lyn Manuel, Julie Reiber, Horace V. Rogers, Haneefah Wood.
