After selling out for the first time around, Broadway Unplugged II will once again feature some of Broadway's brightest performing without a mic in sight. The evening will be presented at Town Hall (123 W. 43rd St.) on September 19th at 8 PM.

Some of the stars scheduled to perform at this year's Broadway Unplugged include Ron Bohmer, Chuck Cooper, B.J. Crosby, Bill Daugherty, Mary Bond Davis, Rob Evan, Sutton Foster, Cheyenne Jackson, Eddie Korbich, Jenifer Kruskamp, Marc Kudisch, Norm Lewis, William Michals, Julia Murney, Christiane Noll, Alice Playten, Emily Skinner, Anne Steele, Mary Testa, Barbara Walsh, Lennie Watts, and more.

Scott Siegel (the Broadway by the Year concerts) will produce, write and host the evening; he conceived the idea for the Broadway Unplugged concerts, which feature Broadway stars without any kind of amplification. "The excitement surrounding last year's concert simply demanded that we do it again. I'm thrilled and humbled by the response of the Broadway community of stars because so many of them agreed to sing in this concert with so much enthusiasm," he stated. Unlike Broadway by the Year, however, Broadway Unplugged will "highlight music from across the entire history of musical theatre." Held on Sept. 27, 2004, the first Broadway Unplugged featured Stephanie J. Block, Debbie Gravitte and Alice Ripley, and did sell-out business.

Once again, the accompaniment for Broadway Unplugged will be provided by musical director Ross Patterson and his Little Big Band.
