Broadway Sessions w/ Ben D is thrilled to welcome Jarrod Emick and Sarah Darling, Thursday, January 20th.
Jarrod Emick made his Broadway debut as 'Chris' in Miss Saigon. He is perhaps best known for his role as 'Joe Hardy' in Damn Yankees which earned him a Tony award for best featured actor in a musical. Emick's other Broadway credits include 'Brad' in The Rocky Horror Show and a role in Ring of Fire. Sarah Darling has appeared across the country in the smash hit musical Jersey Boys.Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games, comedy and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is hosted by Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) and features composer/musical director Will Van Dyke on piano. The show tales place every Thursday evening at The Midtown Theater (163 west 46th street inside the HA! Comedy Club). Doors open at 10:30 with showtime at 11 and open mic going til 2 am. There is no cover charge and no minimum for this event. Funds will be collected and donated to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
