Broadway Kids Care (BKC), the organization of theater kids for kids (and others), will perform at the 2011 U.S. Fund for UNICEF Annual Meeting on Thursday, April 28 at Sheraton NY Hotel & Towers in New York City. UNICEF is the driving force that helps build a world where the rights of every child are realized.

For more than 60 years, UNICEF has been the world's leading international children's organization, working in over 150 countries to address the ongoing issues that affect why kids are dying. UNICEF provides lifesaving nutrition, clean water, education, protection and emergency response saving more young lives than any other humanitarian organization in the world. While millions of children die every year of preventable causes like dehydration, upper respiratory infections and measles, UNICEF, with the support of partnering organizations and donors alike, has the global experience, resources and reach to give children the best hope of survival.

Broadway Kids Care was founded by producer Kelly Gonda, and her husband, Louis Gonda in 2007 with the mission to preserve and perpetuate the theater community's grand tradition of public service and to involve the community's youngest members. BKC is currently led by the parents of children from current and past Broadway shows and dedicated to ensuring that the next generations of theatrical talent carry forth the message, mission and consciousness that has made Broadway such a vital part of New York City and beyond.
