When Standing Ovations IV was announced, we never expected the response that fell upon us so immediately. It is now totally SOLD OUT, and we're holding few tickets for people directly involved in the evening, including our cast who are graciously giving their time and talent to benefit Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. We have therefore decided to put a pair up "for auction" that we will keep up until Friday, October 14th - and will use this rare opportunity to raise additional funds for BC/EFA. Our intent is certainly not to seem cruel in any way, but we are also aware that there are able, generous people out there, who can help make this night mean even more by helping us to raise additional funds.
Whoever becomes the highest bidder, will write their check directly to BC/EFA, which will be tax deductible to the full extent of the law. In addition, on the evening of the event, we will have many special items for sale to raise as much money as we possibly can. Our goal with Standing Ovations IV is to break all of our previous fundraising records. The bidding will start at $100 for this pair of tickets, which is their actual "street value" price.
