Produced by The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers, Matilda The Musical will begin previews on March 4 and open on April 11, 2013 at Broadway's Shubert Theatre (235 West 44th Street). The four girls sharing the title role are Sophia Gennusa, Oona Laurence, Bailey Ryon and Milly Shapiro, each of whom will be making her Broadway debut. The principal cast also features (alphabetically): Karen Aldridge (Mrs. Phelps), Bertie Carvel* (Miss Trunchbull), Gabriel Ebert (Mr. Wormwood), Lesli Margherita (Mrs. Wormwood), and Lauren Ward (Miss Honey). Bertie Carvel, who won the Olivier Award for his performance in Matilda The Musical, also reprises the role he played in London.
