BroadwayWorld.com's Richie Ridge sat with all of the 2013 Tony Winners right after they came off stage from their big wins. The winners were filled with joy, memories and excitement and we've got it ALL! Here's Rob Howell who won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Scenic Design of a Musical for Matilda The Musical.
He has designed sets and costumes extensively in the theatre and opera in the UK and abroad, including at the Royal Court, the Donmar Warehouse, the Royal National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal Opera House and the Metropolitan Opera. On Broadway he designed True West, Betrayal, Boeing-Boeing, The Norman Conquests, Private Lives and Ghost. He has received numerous Oliver and Tony nominations and was awarded Oliviers for Best Set Designer in the years 2000, 2006 and 2012.
