BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was thrilled to sit down and speak with nearly all of this year's Tony Award nominees at the official Tonys Meet & Greet on May 1, 2013, and we will be bringing you special coverage on all of them throughout the awards season. Today we bring you Judith Ivey, a nominee for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for The Heiress. Check out what she had to say below!

The Heiress marked Ivey's tenth appearance on Broadway. She has received numerous honors and awards for her work as an actress and a director, including the coveted Tony for her portrayals in Steaming and Hurlyburly.

THE HEIRESS is the story of Catherine Sloper (Chastain), the shy and sheltered daughter of a prominent New Yorker. Caught between the demands of an emotionally distant father (Strathairn) and the attentions of a passionate young suitor (Stevens), Catherine must navigate the terrain of love and regret, desire and duty, a chance for happiness and the burden of fortune...as only an heiress can.
