BC/EFA Donates $100,000 To Red Cross For Katrina Relief

In a letter to the community, Paul Libin (President) and Tom Viola (Executive Director) of BC/EFA announced a donation of $100,000 to the Red Cross for the victims of hurricane Katrina.

In the letter, they write, "like you, we have also watched with sadness and concern the devastation that has resulted from Hurricane Katrina hitting the Gulf Coast. The level of destruction and, worse, the sense of how huge the recovery efforts will need to be, has once again moved BC/EFA to act. "

A check was sent to the Washington DC office of the Red Cross "expressly for emergency efforts and on-going relief aid being provided to the citizens of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. "
