At This Performance Features Bway Understudies, 4/30 & 5/1

Musicals Tonight will continue its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway standbys and understudies with its current editions of "At This Performance," to be held on Sunday, April 30th and Monday, May 1st at the 45th Street Theatre, 354 West 45th Street at 8 PM.  

Hosted by Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to display their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences. Music Director/ Accompanist for both nights will be Laura Bergquist.

Scheduled for Sunday, April 30th are Katie Adams (Standby for the role of Glinda in Wicked), Richard Todd Adams (Understudy for the role of Sir Percival Glyde in The Woman in White), Colleen Fitzpatrick (Understudy for the role of Gabrielle in Lestat), Charles Gray (Understudy for the roles of Mister, Ol' Mister and Pa in The Color Purple), Michael Longoria (Understudy for the role of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys), Kenita R. Miller (Understudy for the roles of Celie andNettie in The Color Purple) and Diane Phelan (Standby for the roles of Adela and the Young Maid in Bernarda Alba) and Scott Wakefield (Understudy for the roles of Jason, Dan and David in Ring of Fire).

Scheduled for Monday, May 1st are Carmen Ruby Floyd (Understudy for the roles of Gary Coleman, Bear and Mrs T in Avenue Q), Tyler Hanes (Understudy for the role of Link Larkin, Corny Collins, Mr. Pinky, Harriman F. Spritzer, and The Principal in Hairspray), Mike McGowan (Understudy for the roles of Joseph Patrick Kennedy, Jr., Jerry and George Gould Strong in Grey Gardens), Rashad Naylor (Understudy for the roles of Seaweed J. Stubbs and The Dynamites in Hairspray), Nick Sanchez (Understudy for the role of Terk in Tarzan), Natalie Silverlieb (Understudy for the role of Kala in Tarzan), Amy Sparrow (Standby for the role of Claudia in Lestat), Sarah Stiles (Standby for the roles of Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre, Olive Ostrovsky and Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Melanie Vaughan (Understudy for the role of Cass in Ring of Fire) and ScottWakefield (Understudy for the roles of Jason, Dan and David in Ring of Fire)

"At This Performance" debuted in October 2003 and has showcased the talents of 154 talented actors, including Jennifer Barnhart, Bryan Batt, Lisa Brescia, David Burnham, Laura Bell Bundy, Kristy Cates, Barrett Foa, Megan Hilty, Cheyenne Jackson, Leslie Kritzer, Linda Mugleston, Elena Shaddow, Kate Wetherhead, Jennifer Hope Wills, and Jessica-Snow Wilson.
