The search--as well as the ultimate casting--of the newest Altar Boy will be featured on NBC's "Today Show" on Thursday March 23rd. The station has covered the nationwide search for the new Matthew of the acclaimed musical comedy at New World Stages The new Matthew replaces James Royce Edwards, who himself succeeded Scott Porter.
Altar Boyz, winner of the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical Off-Broadway recently celebrated its first anniversary. "Full of sharp parody, sinfully spectacular dancing, and irreverent humor, this spoof about a heavenly guy-group is adored by audiences and critics alike.
