According to the Hollywood Reporter, GLEE will celebrate its 300th musical performance on the November 15th episode when Amber Riley, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris and other stars of the show, perform Adele's "Rumor Has It" and "Someone Like You".

Cast and crew celebrated the milestone performance on the show's set on Wednesday. Fox chairman Dana Walden noted, "This milestone is almost overshadowed by the fact that Glee has now sold more than 35 million downloads and has more Billboard-topping hits than James Brown, Elvis Presley and the Beatles - basically more than any musical act in history. [With] more than 11 million albums sold worldwide, [Glee] is truly a phenomenon when you consider that this group has done all of that."

At the celebration, Walden gave thanks to what she called the "hardest working cast" in television, and acknowledged the contributions of executive producers Ian Brennan, Brad Falchuk, Ryan Murphy and Dante DiLoreto as well as the cast and music producer Adam Anders and choreographer Zach Woodlee.

Rob Stringer of Columbia Records spoke about the first time his record company listened to music from the show and watched a clip from its pilot.'  "We begged to be involved and that was a good decision because here we are, 35 million downloads later, 12 albums later," he said. Stringer then presented the cast and creative team with a framed print listing the names of all 300 songs that had been performed on the show.

Adele is a Columbia talent and the use of her music came from an email that GLEE star Amber Riley received. "Someone emailed me a video of Adele saying she wanted me to sing her song, so I emailed it to Ryan and Brad and I think that's how we got 'Rumor Has It'/'Someone Like You,' " recalled the actress.

Adele herself heard the mix of her music on Monday, and according to Stringer, "she approved it personally."

GLEE's 300th musical performance will be part of the show's November 15th episode.
