Adam Scott Recalls Being 'Terrified' to Work With Robert De Niro on THE WHISPER MAN
The actor describes having De Niro's picture in his high school locker before working alongside him.
Adam Scott appeared on TODAY to talk about his new crime thriller The Whisper Man, in which he plays a widower opposite Robert De Niro, who portrays his father. Scott also touched on attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding and returning for Season Three of Apple TV's Severance.
Discussing what it was like to work with De Niro, Scott admitted the experience carried some pressure given his longtime admiration for the actor. "This is someone who's picture I had up in my locker in high school," he said. "I was terrified to meet him and work with him, you don't want to be terrible in front of Robert De Niro."
Scott's appearance comes as he continues promoting The Whisper Man alongside his ongoing work on Severance. He also shared his thoughts on the Swift-Kelce wedding, calling it "incredible."
Scott made similar rounds recently on THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING Jimmy Fallon, where he previewed Severance season three and discussed The Whisper Man alongside De Niro.
