A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN to Play Final Broadway Performance at Lyceum Theatre on Feb. 9

The Broadway production of A Night With Janis Joplin will play its final performance on Sunday, February 9 at 7PM at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street). On that date, the show will have played 22 preview performances and 141 regular performances. A Night With Janis Joplin will move to a new home in New York City this March.

Mary Bridget Davies has taken the country by storm and has been listed on several yearend best lists for her performance as Janis Joplin on Broadway. The cast also includes Taprena Michelle Augustine (The Book of Mormon), Tony Award nominee De'Adre Aziza (Passing Strange), Nikki Kimbrough(Dreamgirls) and NaTasha Yvette Williams (The Color Purple) who play Joplin's backup singers, "The Joplinaires," and are featured as some of the iconic female singers who influenced Joplin's music.
